EXPLORING THE LEVEL OF STUDENTS’ SELF-EFFICACY IN SPEAKING CLASS

Exploring the level of students’ self-efficacy toward their speaking ability is grand design this study. The participants study were 28 non-native students from suburban area in West Borneo. Those belong to third semester class. In collecting data, they given a questionnaire. An in-depth interview was also conducted with 3 prominent validate and triangulate represented data questionnaire result. Adopting Bandura’s theory, results show that manifested slightly high magnitude dimension, generality very strength dimension. addition, affirms influenced by educational background; affected interests particular field, student's determined strong belief.
